I think that the documentation on syntax highlighting needs more explanation. It is not very clear how how the syntax highlighting works, in particular:
- Does it automatically work based on the file extension?
- Do I need to whitelist all file extensions that I wish to be syntax highlighted (in `syntax.filemap`)
