Currently people have set up animated macros in Phabricator. Using the macro directly works for animations, but when using the meme button, it prevents it from animating even if no top or bottom words are specified.
Instead, if there are no top or bottom words specified, it should just insert:
`macro_name`
instead of:
`{meme, src="macro_name"}`
which will make the animation work.
