In earlier versions, Phabricator had counters next to menuitems like this:

Are they removed or is there a way to re-enable? @epriestley
For my team I need something to highlight their assigned/open tasks, reviews and audits on every page.
Notifications can be easily overlooked and not everything is query-able on a per-user basis with dashboard panels.
Any advice or info is welcome.
