I use narrow windows in my desktop workflow a lot and appreciate the responsive design. I get that this is still primarily a mobile flow but it would be great if you can continue to keep things working well for narrow desktop windows in any rework. Right now on the desktop a narrow UX mostly works but there are some gotchas. Most annoying is the search bar that only appears on click but not when pressing /.

more readable args
tweaked regex for matching remotes
uses rev-parse for discovering upstreams; simpler, handles branches with slashes

I had a feeling you would show me a much better approach than my -v/-vv hack. Thanks for the feedback. I'll resubmit after testing with rev-parse. It looks like it will work fine.
I'll bullet-proof the matching a bit more if the overall approach looks ok. Let me know if I'm on the right track. I tested about half of the test plan so far.
Added --no-color to the git branch --list commands

Mind if I take a crack at this? It's low pri for you guys but it matches my workflow and I'd like to have it upstream if you're willing to review it. Planning to do first two bullets, not --remote--onto.
Normalized indent to two spaces per level.
I tested this diff against my own phabricator install with and without secure.alternate-file-domain set.
