We use the Calendar in Phabricator to show vacations, mainly. And as such we've created a dashboard panel showing the Upcoming Events query result. However, it does not show the creator of the events, it would be really nice if it showed either the invitees or the creator of the event directly in the query results on the Dashboard panel so that you know who are actually on vacation or unreachable or such. :)
