Weird CSS breaks, Chrome 39 / Win

Description

I'm seeing weird CSS breaks in project labels. e.g.

I'm also seeing links in remarkup areas jam right up against the text? e.g.

(look for the link; its a little hard to see)

Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.65 m on windows. I did see this on my Mac though too. I think this must be something newish...

Appears Chrome 39 broke it. 38 works as expected.
