Description

Chrome works differently on actual Android devices than it does in the browser and Chrome emulator. This might just be a simple white-space: nowrap fix, but would need an actual Android device to properly test.

This isn't reproducing for me, I tried my mobile Chrome on the iPhone (iOS7) and the Nexus 5 in the Chrome Emulator.

Can you be provide more information? Does this repro on secure? Does this only repro on Maniphest or all applications?

My phone: Samsung Galaxy Note II
My browser: Chrome 34.0.1847.114

Hmmm...

@chad, I think that this bug:

  • is presented if I have access to appliction actions
  • is not presented if I have no access to actions

Thanks for the info, looks like we'd have to find a "correct" simulator or get an Android device to find a fix. I have a Nexus 7 somewhere in the house, so it's possible, but I don't know off hand where it is (the kids usually have it)

@chad, I usually can't find my device too, if my child had found it before me :)
So, it's known problem...

I did find it, it's charging. Maybe it will be an easy fix. I need something more consistent for testing though if Chrome varies so much between devices.

OK, doesn't repro on Nexus 7, Android 4.2. Will be updating the OS (sorry it's old) to see if this is a newer Chrome bug.

(I might have a swag a fix and have you test in the end)

I have my Nexus 7 on 4.4.2 Android, and it does repro, along with a number of other bugs (timeline timestamps, for instance). It makes me consider that either Chrome (Android) is wrong, or we're wrong about something (globally). I don't know which to pursue, specifically. It doesn't repro on older versions of Chrome(Android) nor iOS, nor Desktop, which is surprising.

chad claimed this task.

As far as I can tell, Chome on Android runs Blink, and most other Chromes run WebKit (trying to confirm). I resolved it anyways, but I'd like to know more concretely the reason for the discrepancy between Chromes.
