Description

We have a number of "objects" that also have a "state" that we currently fit usually into using two icons, or icon + text, or icon + color + text. I think we're mature enough in some product that we can look at having some custom icon work completed and included in the upstream. Specifically:

  • Commit (Audit) + Status
  • Task (Maniphest) + Status
  • Revision (Differential) + Status
  • Buildable (Harbormaster) + Status

If anything else comes to mind, follow up here. I'm going to try to make a comprehensive list and some suggestions on what icon to use.

  • Closed Task
  • Duplicate Task
  • Reopened Task ?
  • Information Task ?
  • Needs Review Revision (Open)
  • Closed Revision
  • Abandoned Revision
  • Needs Update Revision
  • Commit (No Audit)
  • Commit (Needs Audit)
  • Commit (Audited)

Or maybe even more specifically, I want to be able to tell a story on each commit in History. From start to finish every place code went or came from before it ended up in the repository.

Task -> Lint -> Revision -> Buildable -> Audit -> QA

Or something like that, whatever we end up with thinking longterm. Today we already have Revision -> Buildable -> Audit
